Better nights begin with better days.
“I spent years and six figures out of pocket looking for answers, only to find that most approaches focused on managing symptoms rather than understanding why my body wasn't functioning the way it should.
What if your sleep problem isn’t simply a nighttime problem?
We'll explore your sleep patterns, health history, daily routines, light exposure, stress, and environmental influences to identify potential contributors to disrupted sleep.
Learn how your body's internal clock influences sleep, energy, hormones, and recovery. We'll identify practical changes to your daily environment and routines that can help strengthen your natural sleep-wake rhythm. Experience individualized therapeutic bodywork designed to release physical tension, encourage relaxation, and help your nervous system transition out of a heightened state of stress.
Beyond therapeutic bodywork designed to ease your body out of sympathetic overdrive (fight or flight) and into a more restorative parasympathetic state (rest and digest), we incorporate targeted technologies to support vagal regulation, cellular energy production, and the nervous system's natural capacity for recovery.
A better understanding of why you may be struggling to fall asleep, stay asleep, or wake feeling rested, including potential factors you may not have considered.
A Personalized Starting PointSpecific, realistic lifestyle adjustments you can begin implementing immediately to support healthier circadian rhythms and more restorative sleep.
Therapeutic bodywork to help ease physical tension and promote relaxation, creating more favorable conditions for sleep.
A clearer understanding of the next steps for improving your sleep and supporting your overall health, with the option for continued guidance when needed.
You'll leave understanding what your body has been missing, with personalized strategies you can put into practice tonight to begin restoring the natural rhythms that make restorative sleep possible.
Every day, your brain and body respond to environmental signals that help coordinate sleep, alertness, hormone timing, metabolism, and recovery.
When these signals are consistently misaligned, sleep can become more difficult, even when you’re doing everything you think you’re supposed to do at bedtime.
That’s why we look beyond sleep hygiene and examine the entire 24-hour cycle.
A personalized, integrative approach combining sleep and lifestyle assessment, circadian health education, and therapeutic bodywork.
We review your sleep patterns, health history, stressors, and daily habits to identify factors that may be interfering with restorative sleep.
Targeted vagus nerve support, parasympathetic activation therapies and strategies, and restorative bodywork prepare the body for deep rest.

Get our free Deep Sleep Reset Guide and discover how one simple "hack" can have you falling asleep faster and getting back to sleep quickly if you wake up several hours after bedtime and have difficulty falling back asleep.
Most sleep advice focuses on what to do in the final hour before bed. We take a broader approach.
Your sleep is connected to your circadian clock, nervous system, physical tension, metabolic health, and the daily signals your body receives.
We combine evidence-informed circadian lifestyle education and functional nutrition, tools for nervous system regulation along with personalized therapeutic bodywork, rather than treating sleep as an isolated problem.
We partner with the best in sleep medicine for those needing further support with sleep studies and airway assessments.
Deep rest is the foundation of the hormones and neurochemicals required for optimal health.
Integrative Bodywork Practitioner, Functional Health Coach, and Circadian BIOLOGY SPECIALIST
Hi, I'm Jen.
For decades, I struggled with insomnia, disrupted sleep, chronic fatigue, and a long list of health issues that affected both my physical and mental well-being. I spent six figures pursuing answers through conventional and functional medicine, only to end up with a depleted bank account and a cabinet full of supplements that, at best, managed symptoms without addressing the underlying problems.
Everything began to change when I shifted my focus from biochemistry to biophysics: light, water, and magnetism.
I began to understand how profoundly our modern indoor lifestyles disconnect us from the natural environmental signals that regulate our biology. While dietary changes had helped improve my sleep to a degree, many of my chronic symptoms persisted.
Two experiences became turning points: spending time in Mexico and changing the electrical environment in my bedroom at night. My longstanding digestive issues resolved within days, my thyroid function and hormonal health improved, and I lost weight without any effort or intention to do so.
These experiences fundamentally changed how I understand health and healing. Our bodies don't exist independently of their environment. They're designed to function in relationship with it.
Today, I combine integrative bodywork, functional nutrition, circadian biology, targeted nervous system therapies and strategies, and trauma-informed coaching to help clients reconnect with the biological rhythms that support restorative sleep and whole-person health.
I'm a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, with extensive training in functional nutrition, massage and integrative bodywork, trauma-informed care, HeartMath and HRV, Yoga Nidra, and the emerging fields of circadian and quantum biology.
“Better sleep can change everything — not just how you feel at night, but how you live during the day.— Jen Mayo
Traditional sleep clinics primarily focus on diagnosing and treating medical sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea. Our approach focuses on the biological and lifestyle factors that influence sleep, including circadian rhythms, light exposure, nervous system regulation, stress, movement, nutrition and daily habits. We combine personalized sleep education, nutritional counseling, lifestyle design strategies, and nervous system supportive therapies with therapeutic bodywork to support better sleep and overall health and wellness.
Your initial 90-minute session begins with a comprehensive review of your health history, sleep patterns, daily routines, diet, and lifestyle factors that may be affecting your rest. We'll explore how your circadian rhythms and nervous system may be contributing to your sleep difficulties, followed by personalized therapeutic bodywork to address tension and promote relaxation. You'll leave with initial recommendations to begin improving your daily rhythms. Some evening appointments are available to allow deep relaxation shortly before bedtime.
Your body operates on an internal 24-hour clock that helps coordinate sleep, hormone production, neurochemical production, metabolism, energy, and many other biological processes. This clock is strongly influenced by environmental signals, especially natural light. When your daily routines are out of sync with these biological rhythms, your sleep and overall health can suffer. Understanding and supporting these rhythms is central to our approach. And understanding your sleep's connection to other chronic health issues is pivotal to healing those conditions from a root cause level.
Many people experience persistent sleep difficulties despite trying supplements, medications, or conventional sleep hygiene recommendations. Our approach explores factors that may have been overlooked, particularly circadian timing, daily light exposure, and nervous system regulation. While individual results vary, understanding these influences can open up new possibilities for improving sleep.
No. Your initial appointment is a standalone 90-minute assessment and bodywork session. Depending on your needs and goals, we may recommend follow-up Circadian Reset sessions that combine therapeutic bodywork with ongoing lifestyle coaching. There is no obligation to continue and the first appointment will provide tools to start sleeping better the same night.
Sleep is closely connected to metabolic health, hormone regulation, immune function, chronic pain, and emotional well-being. We take a whole-person approach, considering how these systems interact rather than viewing poor sleep in isolation. Our work complements medical care and does not replace diagnosis or treatment of underlying health conditions.
Yes. For clients outside the St. Joseph, Michigan area, we offer a 90-minute virtual sleep and circadian health assessment. These appointments focus on your health history, sleep patterns, environmental influences, and personalized lifestyle strategies, without the hands-on bodywork component.
No. We do not conduct overnight sleep studies or diagnose sleep disorders. Our sessions focus on circadian lifestyle education, therapeutic bodywork, and individualized strategies to support restorative sleep. If your symptoms suggest a condition such as obstructive sleep apnea, we may recommend evaluation by a partner sleep medicine clinic.
Absolutely! Therapeutic massage and integrative bodywork are available as standalone services to help relieve tension, reduce stress, and support nervous system regulation. However, while bodywork can be a valuable tool for improving relaxation and supporting better sleep, it doesn't necessarily address the underlying factors contributing to disrupted sleep. Our Circadian Sleep Reset takes a more comprehensive approach, combining therapeutic bodywork with an assessment of your daily rhythms, light exposure, lifestyle, and environmental influences to help restore the biological conditions that support healthy, restorative sleep.
